Taiga Biome
A Biome is a large naturally occurring community of flora and fauna occupying a major habit(1). The Taiga biome is located specifically in the Northern Hemisphere. It covers land masses in North America, Europe and Asia. It can range in latitude anywhere from 40°N up to 60°N and even farther north in places like Alaska and Siberia. It is the largest terrestrial biome on the planet(2).
